Onions and is curated on the theme of flowers by Anna Clarisse Holck Wæhrens. The flower bulb is a dormant stage of the plant and is usually formed underground. Inside, it stores energy and nutrition in anticipation of Spring. The layers of these bulbs are shaped as an onion and is represented in the exhibition as layers of different media by a variety of artists.

The exhibition is an overview of the expressive flower bulbs developing in- and outside of OUTPOST, presented to brighten the darkness and showcase a glimpse into the uncertain future while marking the end of 2023.

What is shaped and how it will grow is also manifested in a live floor mounted flower bulb installation created by Anna Sofie Jacobsen from Haven på Taget that will evolve and change throughout the exhibition.
